Terms of Use
PLEASE READ CAREFULLY. This document describes how you may use the Cache Valley Babywearing Library website (the "Site"), including its educational content, and describes serious legal risks and rights you give up — including the right to sue — in connection with using borrowed baby carriers, wraps, and slings ("Equipment"). Using the Site's check-in/check-out system does not, by itself, create a binding liability release; before any Equipment is loaned, we require members to sign a physical or electronic copy of the waiver sections below. If you have questions about what you're agreeing to, ask a Library manager before signing.
1. WEBSITE USE
1. WEBSITE USE
- The Site functions as our check-in/check-out system: you may create an account, view Equipment availability, make reservations, and record pickups and returns.
- We do not guarantee that Equipment shown as available on the Site is actually in stock, undamaged, or ready for immediate pickup. Availability is provided on a best-effort, as-is basis.
- The Site may go offline, contain errors, or have incorrect inventory records from time to time. We are not liable for inconvenience caused by such issues, though we will work to correct them.
- You agree to use the Site only for its intended purpose — managing your membership and Equipment loans — and not to misuse, disrupt, or attempt unauthorized access to the Site or other members' accounts.
2. EDUCATIONAL CONTENT — NOT MEDICAL ADVICE
The Site may include educational articles, guides, images, or videos about babywearing techniques, positioning, and carrier types ("Educational Content").

- If you or your baby have any medical condition, physical limitation, developmental concern (including but not limited to hip dysplasia, torticollis, prematurity, or respiratory conditions), or any other health consideration, consult your healthcare provider before using a carrier or attempting any technique shown in our Educational Content.
- We do not warrant that any information in the Educational Content is complete, current, or appropriate for your specific circumstances.
3. RESPONSIBILITY FOR USE OF EQUIPMENT
- You are solely responsible for how you use any Equipment you obtain from the Library, including your choice of carrier, technique, positioning, and duration of use.
- We are not responsible for the way an individual chooses to use Equipment obtained through the Library, including any use that departs from manufacturer instructions, our Educational Content, or guidance given by Library managers or volunteers.
- Guidance, fitting help, or recommendations given by Library managers or volunteers, whether in person or through the Site, are offered as a courtesy only. They do not create a medical or professional relationship and do not transfer responsibility for safe use away from you.
4. ACKNOWLEDGEMENT OF RISKS
