Borrowing from our lending library is easy! Here's how it works:
Step 1: Become a Member
Sign up for a membership to gain access to our full catalog of carriers. Membership fees go directly to maintaining and growing our collection.
Step 2: Browse Our Collection
Explore our catalog of carriers online. You can filter by type, size, brand, availability, etc. to find carriers that interest you.
Step 3: Request a Checkout
Found something you'd like to try? Request to check it out with an easy click on the website! A volunteer will review your request and arrange pickup or delivery.
Step 4: Try It OUT
Take the carrier home and on the go with your little one in real-life situations. See how it feels for errands, walks, and just around the house.
Step 5: Return & Repeat
Return the carrier when you're done and try another! Keep exploring until you find your perfect match.

Q: Can I check out multiple carriers at once?
A: Maybe! Depending on your membership level, you may be able to check out multiple carriers simultaneously. This is perfect if you have multiple little ones (the same or different sizes), multiple wearers, or just different activities that may necessitate different carriers.

Q: What if a carrier I want is not available?
A: You can join the waitlist for any carrier. You can check your position on the wait list at any point, and we'll notify you when it becomes available.
Q: How long can I check out a carrier for?
A: Each carrier check-out lasts for 2 weeks, though you are always welcome to return the carrier sooner than that. We do sometimes make special arrangements if you know you'd like to have it longer.
Q: Do you do gift cards?
A: No, Cache Valley Babywearing does not offer gift cards at this time. However, you are able to gift a membership to someone of your choosing. In order to do this, you will need to contact the library admins to get it set up. You can delay the membership to start at a later date than you pay for it (for example, if you give a membership for a baby shower gift), but it can start no later than 6 months after the purchase date.
