Having a membership is your opportunity to borrow and try out the carriers we have available in your own home. For the duration of your membership, you are able to check out 1 or 2 carriers at a time (depending on the membership type) for 2 weeks at a time. Once you’re done, you return the carrier and can try out a new carrier. 
If you decide you don’t like a carrier, you are always welcome to exchange it earlier than the 2 week standard period for something new.

A basic membership allows you to check out one carrier at a time from the library. Membership duration and pricing are as follows:

A household membership allows you to check out two carriers at a time from the library. This is great for families who are carrying multiple children (twins, or different-aged children), or where multiple people in the household are going to be babywearing (as carriers fit bodies differently). This is a slight discount from getting 2 basic memberships.
