Meetups

Meetups

Whether you are a paying member of Cache Valley Babywearing or not, you are invited and welcome to come to our monthly meetups! These are held once a month and completely free to attend. Each meetup, we generally have a focus topic, though you are welcome to bring any questions or babywearing needs to the meetup. Past topics include babywearing basics, ring slings, back wearing, babywearing water safety, and hot/cold weather wearing.

What Meetups Are

Meetups are a great opportunity for you to learn more about babywearing and get some personalized help. The CVB lending library is run by a small group of unpaid volunteers, and this is how we are able to give back to the community.

What to Expect
At a meetup, we usually have 1-3 volunteer babywearing educators available to help you with basic babywearing question. Come with a few specific questions or problems to get help with, and expect that we can give you 10-15 minutes of individual time (though if it’s a slow meetup, we may be able to give you more time than this).

What Meetups Are Not

Meetups are not a babywearing class. While we can offer some individualized tips and very basic babywearing advice, this does not take the place of babywearing education. We encourage you to sign up for a private consult or a class if you need more than 10-15 minutes of help.
