This carrier begins to fit once baby is solidly wearing 6m clothes (both pants and shirts). It is a good option for both front (facing in) and back wearing. The straps configure in an X on the wearer's back when front wearing, or an H in the front when back wearing so if you plan to switch between the two types of wearing, you'll need to adjust between wears. However, the fabric is so soft and comfortable. It's a popular choice for apron-waisted, X-back carriers.
This carrier has "short length" straps. Hope & Plum sizing states this fits shirt size XXS-L, but we find that in practice it often fits up to shirt size XL or XXL.
